Rhythm Future Quartet — The Future of Gypsy Jazz

Named after a Django Reinhardt tune, the Rhythm Future Quartet has a straightforward agenda: to keep the spirit of Gypsy jazz alive and expanding. This virtuosic foursome offers a newly minted sound, influenced by the classic Hot Club of France yet wholly contemporary, with over 7 million views across their social media performances.

The quartet was founded by Jason Anick, an award-winning composer and violin professor at Berklee College of Music who has shared the stage with legends like Tommy Emmanuel and Stevie Wonder. Joining him is guitar powerhouse Henry Acker, a former child prodigy and five-time Downbeat Magazine award winner, alongside the celebrated guitarist Emmaline O’Rourke and first-call Boston bassist Greg Loughman.

Their latest work has been described by JazzTimes Magazine as "packed to the gills with feeling... full of virtuosity and swing," blending Brazilian, Eastern European, and Classical idioms into a vital, evolving musical genre.
