Adam del Monte is recognized internationally for his work bridging the flamenco and classical worlds. He has recorded for Deutsche Grammophon, performed in the double GRAMMY®–winning opera Ainadamar with Dawn Upshaw and the Atlanta Symphony, and appeared at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Barbican Centre.

His 2025 flamenco opera Llantos 1492 premiered to sold-out audiences, marking a new step in the integration of flamenco and classical composition. Del Monte has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Moscow State Symphony, and Enrique Morente, and contributed to film scores including Munich, Toy Story 3, and Knight and Day.

In Echoes of Andalusia, del Monte stands at the forefront of contemporary flamenco and classical guitar. His music draws on centuries of tradition while speaking in a distinctly modern language — rhythmically driven, harmonically rich, and unafraid of contrast. He presently teaches at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music.
